Today was a momentous day for Armadillo Ale Works. We brewed our very first commercial batch of beer. Quakertown Stout is a slamming concoction of two row barley, brown malt, dark wheat, oats, roasted barley, Blackprinz malt, and the most robust maple syrup we could get our hands on. We can’t wait for ya’ll to try it! Stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter for updates on a release party at Oak Street Drafthouse and where you’ll be able to find it on tap.
We’ve also completed our first round of bringing investors on board. This small group of people consists of family, friends, and just downright awesome people who (like YOU) believe in what we’re doing. For those of you who don’t already know, we’ve teamed up with Deep Ellum Brewing Company (Dallas, TX) to get our beer out on the market while we continue our phase two to raise the money to open our own brewery in Denton (we WILL be back in Denton, we promise). The guys at Deep Ellum are a fantastic group of people who are extremely passionate about what they do and we’re having a blast working with them.
Big things are happening and they’re happening fast. Thanks for coming along with us on this adventure!
